Today is my CT member Lynn’s birthday. In honor of that I have a freebie for you. But first I want to show you some pages that people have made.
This first one was done by Lynn’s mom using my Mulberry Wine kit. This is Sydney, such a cutie. Thanks Cathy!!!

And this one, Robin, my other CT member did using the new collab created by Wenchd Grafix and myself, Winter Wonderland.

And here’s one I did with Winter Wonderland.

And here’s the preview for Winter Wonderland. It’s on sale for 30% off until 11/18 at Wenchd Grafix.

Like I mentioned earlier, today is Lynn’s birthday. I’m not 100% sure of her favorite colors, but I know that she had shades of purple in her wedding and that’s what I took to make this kit in her honor. Please stop by her blog and wish her a happy birthday.

You can get it here until 11/20.
In interest of fair play, I missed Robin’s birthday by a few days. It was at the end of October. Certainly don’t want her to feel left out. But she said she didn’t want a big deal made of it. Of course, we women always say that but in most cases don’t really mean that (so if any men are reading this, remember it’s just something we say, but don’t really mean). I really want to thank both Robin and Lynn for doing such beautiful work and really showcasing my designs. You both are the best!!!
Hope that everyone has a great day!

It’s Veteran’s Day here in the states. I guess it’s not Happy Veteran’s Day, but Thank You. Thank you to those from the Greatest Generation as they call it, who fought on the beaches of Normandy and the shores of Iwo Jima. Thank you to those who didn’t have a choice but answered the call of the draft and often came home the bad guys, the forgotten ones. Thank you to those who served in peacetime and war. Thank you to those who went during Desert Storm, including many of my high school friends. Thank you to those who after 9/11 saw the dangers facing the country and wanted to help end tyranny. A big Thank you to the families who sacrifice everyday the time they are away from their loved ones serving in our military. Thank you for loving this country and what it stands for enough to let them go to protect us. I can only imagine that Happy Veteran’s Day isn’t happy for them, but hopefully we as a people can say thank you and they can take a moment to be proud of their loved ones. So for those who serve and the families that love them, past and present; Thank you!
I am running so late. I guess I’ve finally gotten caught up with the time change. I have a few previews to show you. I mentioned yesterday that Kristine and I were working together on a collab. She showed you her previews yesterday (well, some of them) and now I have mine. This baby is HUGE!!!! And she worked all night to get it into the store. And here’s a page that Lynn did with it. Isn’t it just adorable, love her niece.

Just to give you an idea of just how big this kit is, here’s the contents of it.

Da Wench had to work really hard to get things all together last night because I was a little late getting my part uploaded to her. So THANKS Kris! You rawk! It’s always a pleasure to work with Kristine on any project. And this one turned out beautifully. And she did 2 pages and a QP freebie for you. Stop by and see it here.
So enjoy your day and take a minute to remember those who’ve served and say Thank you!

of a great Digi scrapping day… Well, this trip was planned after I found out what day NDSD would be. It really can’t be helped and so I made it a little bit more about me. I’m heading home to help move mom out of her house. Getting laid off not quite a year after dad’s passing was the final blow for her and she has joined the millions that are losing their homes due to unsavory lending practices in the past and the inability to find a job currently. It really sucks in theory but in reality it will be much better for her in the long run. Don’t get me wrong it could have happened better, she could have been able to sell her house outright, but the areas housing market has been soft for many years now. Anyway, the reason it’s better is now she won’t have the upkeep of the big lawn and repairs that need to be done and the stairs to the basement are getting difficult to manuever. She’ll be closer to my brother and the girls which takes some strain off him too. So I hope that everyone takes full advantage of all the sales and challenges that NDSD has to offer. I’ll be back in full force for regular NSD in May. lol
Speaking of sales, even though I won’t be here I am having a sale this weekend.

Look at what Lynn did with my new kit Desert Mirage.

Here’s the preview for Desert Mirage.

And there’s also an alpha for it.

Also, I’m begining to think a lot about Christmas. Look at some of my Christmas stuff that will be available starting Friday.

Also over at the Garden I have the November quote challenge up and later today the November Daily Petal links for Nov. 1 and 2 will be up. A benefit for you all for my leaving. Make sure you stop by and snag it.
Fantacy Boo-ed me on Tuesday and now I get to pass it on
Now, this is how the Blogging Boo will work. Go to as many friends as you want and tell them they’ve been “Boo-ed”. Have them link back to your blog to pick up their Halloween Treat (picture) and tell them to “Boo” their friends. Then, put the picture in your side bar so everyone knows that you’ve already been “Boo-ed” and to send the pic to someone else. So, are you scared yet!!?? BOO!!
one more time……
1. Take picture, put on sidebar
2. Tell people they have been booed
3. Link back to who booed you
now if I boo you, go forth and booooooooooo people
I boo Kristine, Ladybug, Jenn, Amanda and Lynn.
Ok, gotta jump in the shower and head off to work. I’ll be hitting the long, lonely highway right after work. I’m so excited to be able to take the girls Trick or Treating!!!!! I’ll have a ton of photos for you next week. Be safe and enjoy your Halloween!

And cold. Not that we got any snow here (Thank God) but it’s still a shock to the system to walk into the bathroom in the middle of the night and hit that cold linoleum. Can you believe it’s the end of October already?? Where is this year going? I swear that time is just flying by.
Remember that I told you about Lynn, my CT member who’s gotten her mom into digi scrapping. Well, Cathy did some layouts with some of my stuff, she also used Da Wench’s stuff too, and I wanted to show you the 2 pages she sent to me. Cutie alert ahead. lol

Aren’t they wonderful pages. And such truly adorable kids.
Lots going on over at Digital Scrap Garden for November. A whole new round of challenges are coming and changes to participation bonuses. Each challenge completed will be worth points and point accumulate and then become good for personal use products in the store. Read more here. Now I host the quote challenge and have lots of fun trying to come up with something that relates to that month, but have to remember that not all “holidays” are celebrated in every part of the world. I’ll have the quote up tomorrow for everyone, a day or two early, but that’s how we like to do it at the Garden.
I also have the honor of hosting the Daily Petals for November. It’s a daily download and by the last day of the month, you have a complete it. I’ve got a sneak peek for you.

That’s just the elements peek. Check back tomorrow for the papers. And I’ll have a link for you.
I also have 2 new items in the store over at DSG and have several more hitting the shelves shortly. Now these are showing, but they’re not available unless you REALLY, REALLY gotta have them now. Otherwise, wait til Friday when the Digi Scrapping Day Sale starts.

So watch for more new goodies tomorrow. 2 alphas and 2 more Christmas themed products.
Stay warm and have a good day!

I have been in such a rut lately. I don’t know if it’s the change of the season that’s got me in a funk or what it is. Every morning this week we’ve had frost and this weekend we close up the camper for the season. This time of year always makes me sad. I haven’t had anything overly witty to say here either. (ok, so how’s that any difference to other days you’re thinking). About the only thing I’ve done is work on getting stuff repackaged to see in Da Wench’s store too. So now I can be found in two places. I do have 2 paper packs and an alpha that I finally got into the store at DSG. Wanta see? The best part is that all 3 are on sale for just $1.00.

Watch for a giveaway thread at DST later in the day too.
Ugh. I just had to go start my car to get the frost off the windows. Guess I need to go buy a new scraper. There are mornings that I wish I lived down South. Hope that wherever you are it’s a beautiful morning like it is here, frost or not. Have a great day!

One thing that I really love about the digiworld is that when it’s someone’s birthday, everyone gets the gifts. And today is no different. Today is Da Wench’s birthday - Kristine as she’s known to her parents and probablly Steve (of course, he may have been the first to call her Wench?????). And to celebrate Kris’ birthday, she got all her friends together to work on one giant freebie for you all. Now make sure that you go by and wish her a very, very happy birthday. Plus, she’s the only one who’s got the master list of everyone who’s participating in this blog birthday bash. It’s not as complex as the Fab Fall Splendor, but I’ve seen what she’s done for this one and it rawks. Also, stop by her store or her new store at the Garden and grab some of her fab designs for 42% off. And if you should happen to sip on a Margarita this weekend, hoist the glass in her honor.

You can get it here.
Now please be a sweetie and go thank her for pulling together yet another wonderful collab. Go here and say thanks, happy birthday or even hi. Just let her know that you appreciate her. I certainly do!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Wench!!! Hope you enjoy every moment of it. Mwah!!!

Another orginial post title. But it definately fits. For some reason, this week has just seemed to drag on. Maybe it’s cuz it’s the end of the month or the nights are cooler and the days are shorter. This weekend is the end of the year horseshoe tournament too. I haven’t thrown in about 3 weeks, so I’m sure I’ll be very rusty. It’s also the time they decide who gets the most improved award. There are 4 of us in the running. I talked with the organizer of it and she’s calling everyone for their vote. She said it was close, but didn’t say between who. All I know is that I’ve definately improved since the begining of the year. That may be all that is necessary. Shannon’s been throwing hot lately too, but the men’s side has been wrapped up for over a month now. Maybe next year.
Had a riot at the DSG birthday chat last night. Who knew that so many women could be so goofy together? Oh, yeah I did. Missed Grey’s Anatomy, but have it on Tivo just don’t know when I’ll get to watch it. Anyway, don’t forget about all the festivities at DSG this weekend. In addition to the 40% off sale, there are great challenges going on and there will be 2 speed scrap chats. Stop by and check out what’s going on.
And don’t forget about the new releases I have in the store. Everything is 40% off.
Previews are linked to the store for you to check out the sale.
And check in with Da Wench later today. She said something about having an awesome QP freebie made from her Enchanted kit that’s on sale now in her store.

Hope that ya’ll have a great weekend. See ya next week.

I can still remember when I first met the ladies of Digital Scrap Garden. It was on the blog train over at DST. I had just started blogging and CTing for Heather Manning and was trying to come up with a way to get people to my blog. Freebies is what started me on it all. I was checking sites daily and adding the previews to my blog. That’s how I met Ladybug, Flutterby and Purple Frog, the talent behind DSG. Time went on, as it always does and I stopped my freebie list. There were other sites out there that had bigger (but not always better) lists. But my friends would always pop in every now and then to say hi. After a bit of time and some pep talks, I was convinced to join the store. It’s the most fun I’ve had in ages. The Goofy Dorks keep me on my toes and smiling through the day. Thank you ladies! Now it’s time to paartty. Take a look at the different things going on to celebrate.
Sale, did someone say sale. Yep! The store is on sale for the next week. 40 - 75% off. Here’s a sample of my stuff. Ads are linked.
In addition to my paper packs and kit, all the other designers have their goodies on sale too. And there’s an extra bonus. With a $10 purchase you get the Sweet Dreams collaboration kit. Take a look.
I also have 3 new paper packs that are hitting the store today and all 3 are 40% off.

Something Wicked This Way Comes -
And this one shows a little of the detail on a few of the papers.

In addition to the sales there is also a huge QP scavenger hunt made with the FWP kit. More than enough to fill an entire Shutterfly book. There will also be challenges and freebies, giveaways and just tons of fun. Stop by here to check it out.
And while you checking out sales, stop by and check out this gorgeous kit that da Wench made. It’s on sale at her site Wenchd Grafix. I’ll be joining Kristine’s shop soon too. And watch for some beautiful QP’s made by her Dancing Dorks on her blog on Friday and beginning next week. Look at this kit. The purples are just to die for.

And last but certainly not least, if you read through all the stuff above, Congrats you found the freebie. It’s an add on kit to Vineyard. There are 2 papers, 2 frame clusters and 2 clusters for it.

Remember the main kit is on sale for the next week for 40% off.
Sorry link expired.
Don’t forget about the birthday chat at DST tomorrow night. It’s gonna be lots of fun.

Hope to see you all over at the Garden for the big birthday bash. Lots of freebies and challenges to get more freebies. See ya there!

Hope that you all had a great weekend. It was very low key for me. We stayed home and mostly watched football and Nascar. I did manage to get a little cleaning done, which is rare for weekends, especially when we’re always at the camper.
I’ve been showing you bits and pieces of my newest kit Mulberry Wine. It’s now in the store and is 20% til Wed. night. I also have a thread at DST for you to win a copy. You can leave me a comment here until 5 pm EST Monday. For every 15 people, I’m giving away 1 copy. Here, take a look:
Don’t forget that Digital Scrap Garden is having a week long birthday bash starting Thursday. There will be a huge sale and also a scavenger hunt. Do you like QP’s? Then you must stop by to find these. They are magnificent! There are over 25 of them, so they would easily fill up an entire album. There will also be challenges, chats and did I say sale?
Here’s a QP for you that I made from Mulberry Wine.

Sorry link expired.
Be sure to check back for more info on the Birthday bash later in the week. It’ll be well worth your while.
Have a great day all!
