Mornin all.  If you stopped by yesterday, you may remember that I didn’t sleep very well Tuesday night.  I was up writing my blog post at 4 am.  I did end up falling back asleep for a few hours and did manage to get up on time for work. I really didn’t sleep much better last night, but at least I wasn’t up for 2 hours in the middle of the night.  It’s most likely hormonal, which really sucks cuz I’m not old enough to be dealing with that yet, but my Dr. said that’s probablly the case due to the infertility issues.  Oh well, life goes on.

Did you watch any of Idol Gives Back last night?  I had it on Tivo while I was doing dishes and computer stuff, so I could fast forward through a lot of the stuff I really didn’t want to see.  How fabulous was Heart last night?  I enjoyed it even with Fergie in it.  Heart was a major musical part of my childhood and teen years.  It’s great to see them back rockin again.  Annie Lennox made me cry.  I didn’t catch all of her interview tape.  I don’t know what the significance of her shirt was.  Is she HIV positive?  If so, what a heartbreaker.  Ivan Jackinov made me cry too.  Tears of laughter that is. How funny was Robin Williams?!!!!  And when he grabbed Simon’s ass.  I was rolling during the whole bit.  And I don’t understand the whole Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana thing.  She’s not that good of a singer.  Oh well, neither was Tiffani or even Shaun Cassidy for that matter.  Every generation has to have it’s pop idols.

The old man has gone back to work finally.  Thank God, but now he thinks the world should revolve around him again.  Robin came up with a very tempting idea.  We’re gonna ditch our lives, run away to the West coast of Washington and make Capt. Jonathan a very happy man.  For those of you who don’t know who Capt. Jon is, watch the Discovery channel sometime this weekend.  They’re running a marathon of the past few seasons of Deadliest Catch to get everyone up to speed for the season premier on Tuesday.

I’ve done really well in the last few weeks in not rushing out and buying everything I see.  I did break down and buy Natali’s text paths yesterday.  Maybe I’ll get to use them soon.

I love Kim B’s color challenge over at Digital-scrapbooking.org.  Every month the ladies make some of the most amazing kits and freebies from a simple color swatch that Kim picks out.  So for the past few months, I’ve been playing along kinda.  I really don’t design kits.  I’m not techinical enough yet.  But I did a paper pack one month and heart elements the next.  This month I tried my hand at an alpha set.  It’s nothing fancy and I’m sure that there are a hundred of alphas out there just like this one, but this one is mine.  So I thought I’d share.

  There are 2 sets of lower and upper alphas.  One set in individual png files and the other set is on a page for your extraction.  Hope you can enjoy it.
