Oh I so hope that you had an wonderful weekend.  It was truly glorious here.  The rain stopped Friday night and the temp went into the 60’s here in Central Ohio.  The sunshine was such a welcome site.  I think that due to the warm weather, there were quite a few more people down at the campground than usual this early in the season.  Everyone was reorganizing, cleaning or remodeling.  Right now it seems like there are quite a few open lots, but those will fill up quickly.  Deer Creek is a great spot and very family friendly too.

This is our camper.  This year is our fourth season with the camper.  It belonged to Shannon’s mother and when she passed, his sister bought it.  They weren’t using it and offered it to us at a great price.  Shannon loves it and it has a special place in his heart because it was moms.  Plus it came packed to the gills.

This was the scene Saturday morning when I took the dogs for their morning walk/potty break.  My little point and shoot truly doesn’t do it justice.   There’s a lot of farm land around.  It’s about a 45 minute drive from where we live.

Sunday morning is our favorite time.  We all pile on the bed and just snuggle.Shannon and Carmen.Jazi and me in the background.

We have all the comforts of home.  Air conditioner, heat, running water and most importantly - Satalite tv.  Now I also have the laptop so I can scrap, but no internet access.  Well, almost all the comforts.

Also parked out front of the camper at the moment is Shannon’s boat.  It doesn’t work right (but he’s not right sometimes either).  It’s a lot of fun when it runs, but it really hasn’t for the last 2 years.  He keeps saying he’s gonna get it fixed.  It’ll go back to the boat parking area as soon as the grass dries out.  This is the reason there’s no really good shot of the camper from the front.

And my last photo to share.  These are my brand new, shiny horseshoes.  I threw a little bit last year and decided that if I’m going to participate I’ll have my own.  Momma’s got a new pair of shoes.  Well, we spent about an hour just messing around at the horseshoe pits today and they’re not shiny any more.  But my face is almost as red as the shoes in the photo.  It was just shy of 70 degrees today and the sun was bright.  I’ve got a little bit of a sunburn on my face.  The last turn I took, I finally got my ringer, which made me very happy.  I figured that someone else would end up throwing the first ringer with my new shoes before I got a chance.  I’m looking forward to a little competition.  Then we’ll see if I’m gonna be any good.

So now you have a little insight into how I spend my summers. (and spring and first part of fall).  I’ve got a good group of friends down there and it’s time that Shannon and I can spend together.  The dogs love it too!  Little miss Jazi is the social butterfly, running off to see everyone every chance she gets.  They did get quite muddy this weekend, but it doesn’t take that much to clean up after them.

Ok, I got tagged on Friday by Megan and Saturday by Robin.  Let’s see what I need to answer.  I’ll do Megan’s first and then cheat a little, since I got tagged like Robin’s last week by Amanda, but I didn’t do it right.

1:) Four jobs that I’ve had:  Bartender, waitress, office manager and insurance sales & service.

2:) Four movies I could watch over and over:  the original Willy Wonka, Breakfast Club, Sound of Music & Toy Story (I don’t have kids, so I love this movie).

3:) Four places I’ve lived:  Kansas, Michigan, Ohio & Florida

4:) Four shows I love:  LOST, Top Chef, Grey’s Anatomy & Deadliest Catch (the new season will be starting April 15th on the Discovery Channel)

5:) Four people who email me regularly:  Kristine (love ya wench); Cate, my SIL & my Aunt Hannah

6:) Four fave foods:  Mexican, Pizza, Chocolate & chocolate

7:) Four places I’d rather be:  Anywhere but work, Detroit with my nieces, Florida and I’d love to see Austrailia

8:)  Four people I’m tagging:  Kristine, Cate, Heather & Robin

And for Robins Tag, here’s the info.

And Ive been TAGGED!
Links fun!
PLEASE just follow the rules!
Just copy paste THIS and everything below up until my Five links.

I thought it would be cool to have a meme where we post links.
We can post up to five.
Then we tell five more people to share their links.
If we all share who tagged us, our links are sure to be seen!
They can be business links, favorite sites, affiliate links, whatever you want…
There are Five Rules:

1. MUST be clean. No R rated sites.
2. Only FIVE links.
3. MUST tell 5 people.
4. A link back to the person who tagged you
5. Lara’s Place is the meme originator. (an active link is appreciated)

1. Wikipedia ~  Have found this to be a great resource site.  My main spot that is bookmarked is the LOST pages.

2.  Snopes ~ This site is a must if you get a lot of emails from well meaning friends.  It’s also just a great read.  Check out urban legends and email/computer hoaxes.  There’s a great area about photos too.  If you’re not sure about something you’ve gotten in your in box, then this is the past to start first.

3.  Pogo games ~ I’ve been a Pogo member for almost 10 years now.  I haven’t played since I’ve gotten so into scraping.  I just got an email saying it’s time to renew or I’ll lose all my badges and stuff.  I can’t decide cuz that’s a lot of scrapping stuff in that membership fee.

4.  Food Network, Bravotv, DiscoveryTV .  I group these all together because I basically only go there during certain times of the year.  Food Network, well when I need a recipe.  Bravo is during Top Chef season and Discovery TV is during Deadliest Catch season.  If you haven’t caught Deadliest Catch and you like reality tv that’s not a game show but life or death then look for this show.  It’s about Alaskan Crab Fishing and is very intense.  The new season starts the 15th and they’re running the last few seasons to get everyone ready.

5.  Pay Per Post~ if you’ve ever thought of trying to make extra money by blogging, then this is a great site to start out at.  I need to get myself back into the swing of things.  The first 2 months I made over $300 and really didn’t do that many ads.  If you have any more questions about it, send me an email at carjaziscraps “at” gmail “dot” com.

I tag the following people:  Andrea, Megan, Dawn Marchant, Barb & Jaime.  If you all made it this far.  But I am making up for not blogging on Sat. or Sun., lol.  It is extremely long, sorry.  Tomorrow I hope to have much shorter.  I may try to get the brag book I worked on up for a freebie tomorrow.  Hope you all have a good Monday (or Tuesday if the case may be).
