It’s here!
Guess what came yesterday? Yep, my new shiny, very pink laptop. It’s kinda cool, but I really don’t know what I’m doing with it yet. Right now, it’s sitting out in my car, cuz I haven’t told Shannon about it yet. I don’t think he’s gonna be too happy, he thinks I spend too much time on the computer as it is. Maybe he’ll be a tad bit happy when I can sit in the living room and ignore him instead of sitting in the computer room ignoring him. I need to find the cords and cables that I need and then I’ll have to decide if I’m gonna set up a wireless network through the house. Isn’t that why I got it in the first place?
Well now that it’s April 1st, all my guest spots are over and I’m just maintaining my CT spot with Heather. I think that I tend to do better pages when it’s just for me and I’m not trying to get everything perfect for the designer. I’m still working very hard on scraping for me and not for everyone else’s approval.
Speaking of CT’s, there’s a new challenge up over at Heather’s CT blog. Andrea is the hostess with the mostess this month with a terrific template challenge. Stop by the CT blog to see the template and all the great layouts that the Dirty Girls did with it. And it’s a super easy challenge, use the template, link back to the blog and one random winner will get a GC. If you use Heather’s products, at least 50%, the GC is double. Was it a Dell you got? I just got a new Inspiron 1520 a few weeks ago (Espresso brown) and LOVE it! Vista is so cool! Hopefully Shannon will be alright with it once he sees that you are portable now and how neat the thing is

Did that very pink Dell NOT come with all teh cables etc? Thats just wrong! I can almost picture Shan’s face when he finds out….Steve likes mine though because I sit in teh living room with my headphones on and ignore him rather than sit in the office…..silly men…..Off to snag me a template! Awesome….you are really going to enjoy it. A suggestion for you! You know those trays on wheels that they have in hospitals? Well, I got one of those to set mine up on at home, and all I have to do is wheel it around to where I am sitting in the house…LOL!! You can get them at any medical supply house. It really comes in handy, cause when dinner is done, and it’s time to crawl in bed…I get to spend a few more hours, sitting up and designing, while Joe goes off in slumber land… LMAO!!! Plus, it is soooo easy to pack up and bring to work….Have a great day, and let me know when you want to join my CT team!!! HUGS honey…see you tomorrow…

I almost called you yesterday after the doctor’s appointment, but figured you’d probably be busy working. :o(
And you should always scrap for yourself first. That’s the only way to do it. And you remember that being on my CT. LOL You know I want you guys to do it for you, otherwise your hobby isn’t fun anymore.

My dh got me my laptop last year for our anniversary. I sit in the living room with him while he is glued to our 52″ tv. screen with every sport thing on imaginable. Right now it is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….GOLF! LOL! But he is happy because he has my company, and I could care less what is on tv! hahahahhahah

Hey girl, looks like your mind is working along the same lines as mine lately (scary as that may be to you!). I just got a new laptop so I can ignore my DH in the family while he ignores me on his laptop. What a romantic couple we are!
And, it comes in handy in other places — like at the hospital where I am with Daniel for more testing today.
Anyhow, we have a wireless network so that everything can connect to the Internet, but I can’t get all the computers to network with each other — something about firewalls or something that I haven’t worked out yet. Good luck with yours!
